As an ecologist with a keen interest in science communication and a passion for collaborative work, I find the realm of ecosystem services hugely fascinating. Working at the nexus of ecosystem science and social and economic values with the Alberta Biodiversity Monitoring Institute's ES Assessment project (www.ecosystemservices.abmi.ca), I contribute to both applied ecological research and modelling and to collaborations that aim to integrate ES into environmental reporting & communication.
